Mr. James Ray Arnold Jr. 67 of Beech Grove died Tuesday, June 7th, at his home after an extended illness. He was a native of Bedford County; retired employee of American Homes Company; a member of the Moose Lodge and a member of the Lakewood Baptist Church.

He is survived by his parents, James Ray Arnold Sr. and Mary Frances Stephens Arnold of Shelbyville; his wife, Sara Patricia Arnold; three daughters, Melissa Ann (Andy) Fox of Beech Grove, Mary Virginia ( Marty) Shelton, Tricia Rhea ( Charles) Holtz of Murfreesboro; a sister, Linda (Stephen) Arnold Stimpson and eight Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 11th, at Hillcrest Funeral Home Bob Bush, Jim Highland, Frank Bauer and Denny Hastings officiating. Burial will follow at New Bethel Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society; to Caris Healthcare of Murfreesboro or to the Lakewood Baptist Church Building Fund
