LORAINE B. BLAINE, 85 of Yakima died June 2, 2011 at his home in Yakima. He was born October 13, 1925 in Sapula, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Yakima Carpenters Union #59 for 50 years.

He is survived by three sons Mike S. Blaine, Larry D. Blaine, & Stan A. Blaine all of Yakima; step-son: Buck Hays of Florida; daughter, Bev. K. McGonagle of Yakima; step-daughter Shirley Boggess of Yakima; sister, Violet Todd of Missouri; brother, Jim Blaine of Tacoma, ten grandchildren & numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edwina in 2007, and a daughter, Lynette Young in 2008.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2011 at Shaw & Sons Funeral Directors. Visitation will be Thursday, June 9, 2011 9 am - 5 pm. Private entombment will be at Terrace Heights Memorial Park, Yakima. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or through Shaw & Sons Funeral Directors.

Arrangements are under direction of Shaw & Sons Funeral Directors, 201 N. 2nd St., Yakima.
