Irvin Adams
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow for Irvin "Vin" A. Adams, 73, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, who died at 8:25 a.m. Oct. 4, 2000.
Burial was at the church cemetery.
He was the father of Thaddeus, Kevin, Kent, Keith, James and Kerry Adams and Becky A. Hebert; and brother of Ellis, Edless and Thomas "Joe" Adams, Lenore Dupre and Hazel Stoute.
He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorecia Callistro Adams; parents, Arthur Sr. and Jolina Duet Adams; brothers, Sidney, Arthur Jr. and Andrew Adams; and sisters, Berth and Rita Adams.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Samart Funeral Home and Crematorium of Cut Off was in charge of the arrangements.
