Alfred C. Tennant, 73, of Cheyenne died Feb. 5 at United Medical Center-West.
Mr. Tennant was born Aug. 12, 1926, in Cheyenne and had lived here for 60 years with prior residence in Chugwater as a child.
He was a maintenance worker for Laramie County Road and Bridge for 25 years.
Mr. Tennant is survived by his wife Mary E. Tennant, whom he married April 1, 1957; three sons; Dale Tennant and Jim Tennant, both of Cheyenne, Wayne Tennant of Nebraska; a stepson, Douglass Stundon of Cheyenne; two stepdaughters, Carolyn Bartow of Cheyenne and Bonnie Kirkwood of Casper; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John C. and Thelma Tennant; two brothers; and three sisters.
