This stone is kind of in the dark shadows, but is very lovely.

This monument is very large and made out of pure white marble. It lies inside an overgrown bush at the far end of the cemetery, near the road juntion of the cemetery road and the farm road.

The photo is not high quality for two reasons. I had to keep the brush pulled back. I could not use a flash, because it was dark in the bush and the stone is bright flashy, white. The photo tends to loose perspective and depth of field.

Thomas Morgan, Lydia's husband, is seen posted on the far side.

The heavy mineral deposit seen on the top and base is very hard and caked on. Removing the deposits could be very exspensive, if done by a trained professional. Private parties not trained could ruin the monument. It is of rare beauty.
