Lloyd L. Niccolson, 92, died Sunday in Salem. A native of Mill City, he had lived in Salem since 1948. He married Maybelle Johnson in November 1924. He was a World War I Army veteran. He was a salesman for Salem Steel and a member of the American Legion. He was a descendant of an 1850s pioneer family that settled in Jefferson. Survivors include his wife; son, Wesley H. of Walnut Creek, Calif.; and daughter, Charlotte Williams of Salem. Cryptside services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday in Mount Crest Abbey Chapel, with entombment in Mount Crest Abbey Mausoleum. Contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels. Arrangements are by Virgil T. Golden mortuary.
