Mrs. Irving Abend of St. Louis died Thursday morning of this week. The body will be brought to Plattsburg for burial, and the funeral will be held at the Plattsburg Catholic church on Saturday morning.
Mrs. Abend was before her marriage Miss Katherine Downey, daughter of the late James Downey, senior. She was about sixty years old. Mr. and Mrs. Abend have been living in St. Louis for the past fifteen or sixteen years. Mrs. Abend is survived by her husband. Their daughter died several years ago and was buried here.
