Dwayne O White, age 88, of Reedsburg died peacefully in the midst of loving family on the Lord's day, June 6, 2011 at St Clare Hospital, Baraboo. Dwayne was born on Nov 21, 1922 in Ironton township, son of Ernest and Pearl (Schultis) White. On June 6, 1951 he was united in marriage to Louise M Schlieckau.

After serving in the military, Dwayne was a dairy farmer until his retirement in 1980. He was a faithful member of St John Ev Lutheran Church. Dwayne enjoyed his life, focused on family, farm and many friendships.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise, on Nov 28, 2008; his parents; brothers, Marvin, Merlin, Ernest and Irvin; sisters, Wava White, Darlene Schultz, Adabelle Costerisan and Vada Small; brothers-in-law, Ansell Jones, Naamon Small, Wilbur Bakken, Francis Underhilll, Arthur Schultz, Harold Schlieckau, August Schlieckau Jr, Edwin Roecker, Victor Lucht, Victor Craker and Raymond Albers; sister-in-law, Phyllis White; numerous nieces and nephews.

Ssurvivors include two children, Mary Lou (Brian) Brown of DeForest and Gerald (Linda) White of Reedsburg; five grandchildren, Kimberly (Jason) Jameson of Beaver Dam, Andrew (Shannon) Brown of Madison, Nathan (friend Laura Newkirk) White, Reedsburg, Kelly (Chadwick) Shaw of Reedsburg and Ryan White of Reedsburg; three great-grandchildren, Kaitlynn Jameson, Deaglan Jameson and Isabella Brown; two step-grandchildren, Taylor Arneson and Riley Shaw; two sisters, Delores Bakken of Madison and Idana (Robert) Noel of Walla Walla, WA; brother-in-law, Frances Costerisan of Hendersonville, NC; sisters-in-law, LaVera White of Sauk City, Edith White of Reedsburg, Frieda Craker of Reedsburg, Dorothy Albers of Reedsburg, Marion Roecker, Reedsburg, Adeline (Joseph) Stimac, Milwaukee, Beverly (Richard) Schultz, LaValle and Beverly Schlieckau, Loganville; two brothers-in-law, Walter (Alva) Schlieckau, Loganville and Henry (Jan) Schlieckau, Reedsburg; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Interment will be in St John's Cemetery, Reedsburg.
