Funeral for willie Lee Dalby, 77, of Reklaw will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Renfro Memorial Cahpel with O R Perkins officiating.
Burial will be in McDonald Cemetery at New Summerfield under direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home.
Mr. Dalby died at 9:15 a.m. Thursday at his home after a sudden illness. He had lived at Reklaw 19 years and was a retired employee of Exxon and a Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Verna Dalby of Reklaw; one son Edward L Dalby of Cypress; one daughter, Mrs. Jack Taylor of Channelview; one sister Mrs. Ralph Beckham of Reklaw; two brothers Kelly Dalby of Tyler; and Eddie Hubert Dalby of Deer Park; and six granchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Beckham, Murray Beckham, Tommie Dalby, Daryl wayne whatley, Malcolm Roebuck and Darrel Adams.
According to Cherokee County Marriage records Willie Lee Dalby married Verna Duty on 31 Oct 1928.
