Funeral services for John M. Boyer, 75, who was found dead in his room in Paris last Thursday morning, were held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in a Paris funeral home.
Burial was made in Pleasant Hill cemetery near this city.
The deceased, son of T. J. and Lavina Boyer, was born in Kansas on Nov. 6, 1870, and he resided here most of his life.
He is survived by a brother, William, of this city, and two sons.
Coroner Albert Lycan conducted an inquest Thursday afternoon, the jury returning a verdict that death was due to a heart attack.
