John Samuel and Addie Bell Ballard Wade had a large family. There were two sets of twins---Sarah & John Henry born 1917 (he died at the age of 11 I believe---in an accidental shooting)& then Aver & Alva , born 1906. Then of course there was My Father Oscar Sidney who was the oldest (b. 1902), Paul, Lewis,Charley and Jody who was bn.1921. I loved all of them. Family always meant so much to my parents. We visited with Aunt Sarah & Uncle Clyde many times & like you, we always had a great time there. They lived on a farm in Cropwell; had a horse (or maybe it was a mule), chickens, a pond, etc.
