Obituary for Phillip Wayne McNeil
Funeral services for Phillip Wayne McNeil, age 50, will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 15, 2002 from the South Chapel of George A Smith and Sons with the Rev Alben Gaston officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
Mr McNeil died Thursday morning at the Oklahoma University Medical Center. He was born in Jackson, TN on October 17, 1951, the son of James N McNeil and the late Mildred Hester McNeil. He was a retired U S Air Force sergeant and a graduate of South Side High School. He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Oklahoma City and a member of the choir.
He is survived by his wife, Maria McNeil of Oklahoma City; his father, James McNeil of Jackson and a brother Richard True of Memphis, TN. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Hester McNeil on August 1, 1995 and a brother, James Michael McNeil on January 27, 1996.
George A Smith and Sons South Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
