Mrs. Geo. Lombard
Mrs. Geo. Lombard passed away at her home in Kingston township, July 15 [1920] after a long and painful illness.
Cynthia Stroup was born in Canada Apr. 16, 1842. On Oct. 11, 1878, she was united in marriage with Geo. Lombard. She leaves to mourn her loss, two daughters, Ella, who resides at home, Mrs. Blanch Hanna of Detroit; one step-daughter, Mrs. David Rule, formerly of this place, but now of Washington; two sisters, one in Oregon, and Mrs. Cyrus Wells of Kingston twp.; one brother of Lapeer; two grandchildren of Detroit.
The funeral services were held at the residence Sunday afternoon, Rev. Jos. Dibden, pastor of the Kingston M.E. church, officiating. The interment was made in Kingston cemetery. The floral offerings were many and beautiful.
Mrs. Lombard had lived in Kingston about 38 years, and leaves a host of friends who extend sincere sympathy to the family.
