Funeral services for Larry Cecil, 54, of Alex will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the Westside Church of Christ in Alex. Larry Cecil was born Jan. 1, 1957 to George H. Cecil Sr. and and Barbara F. St. Pierre in Salina, CA. He passed away on June 2, 2011 in Chickasha.
Larry's hobbies included fishing, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. Larry had a very strong work ethic and taught his children and grandchildren the importance of being a hard worker, a honest individual and to always make the best of their life and the importance of family. Larry was the center stone of his family, best friend, gentle, unconditional, Paw Paw, giving, helpful, God fearing, are a few of the words his family uses to describe him. For a man who came into the world with a heart defect, he always loved whole heartedly and unconditionally. His heart was bigger and stronger than most. You are missed, not forgotten and loved then, now and through eternity. It was Larry's wishes if anyone would like to make a donation in his name please feel free to do so. Larry supported St. Jude's. Interment will be in the Alex Cemetery, Alex , OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
