Tammy was born to the late Roosevelt and Retha Brewster Crockett in Welch, W.Va. on January 14, 1971. Tammy loved being a mother to her two daughters and was a wonderful wife. Tammy loved her cats, and never missed chance to go to the beach. She had a gift for cooking delicious meals for everyone she knew. Tammy was a woman of true courage and strength with a giving and generous heart. She attended Cumberland Heights Baptist Church. Her life has been a blessing to all who have been privileged to know her.
Surviving Tammy are her husband, Stan Baldwin; daughters, Tara Lynn Simons and husband J.R., Crystal Roncella; stepson, Austin Baldwin; and granddaughter, Lydia; sisters, Melissa Gross and husband Steve of War, W.Va., Vicki Simons and husband Rodney of Maiden, N.C.; many precious nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from the Cumberland Heights Baptist Church, Bluefield, W.Va. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. The family will receive friends on Monday June 6, 2011 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the church. Pallbearers will be friends and relatives. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests, if desired, memorial donations be made to Cumberland Heights Building Fund, 3811 E. Cumberland Road, Bluefield, WV 24701.
