George Casterline's death and burial according to newspapers and records following the farming explosion accident on Sept. 1, 1896 on Herbert Lossing's farm in Custer, Michigan.

The men that were killed are George Casterline (brother in law of Lossing brothers), Lanson Lossing and Darius Lossing. Lanson and Darius bothers of Herbert Lossing.

George Casterline according to family history was buried in Greenwood Cemetery with or next to his brother in law Lanson Lossing. This Lanson Lawson was born Feb. 4, 1849. According to records in the Sandusky, Sanilac County, Michigan, clerks office, this Lanson Lawson is buried in Greenwood Cemetery next to some of his other family members such as his wife Mary and children Artimus and Charles.

The Find A Grave Memorial# 71457676 for Lanson Lossing posted in Greenwood is incorrect. To add to the error and confusion is Find A Grave Memorial# 77604577 for a Lanson Lossing buried at Spring Hill Cemetery is also incorrect. I have supplied this volunteer with the correct information from the county and they have not made the corrections needed for this record.

I have created a correct version for Lanson Lossing in an effort to establish credibility.
