Andrew (Tom) J. Ford, Sept. 13, 1918-July 30, 2010, resident of Cupertino, passed away peacefully at the age of 91. Andrew is survived by Nancy, his wife of 61 years, his son Andrew Jr., daughter Mary and her husband Glen, sister Charlotte and her husband Curtis, grandchildren Dean and Anna, and niece Ann. Andrew was predeceased by his son Alan. He will also be missed by Frankie, his loving and favorite dog. Andrew was born in Tennessee and raised in Idaho. He was a B-17 pilot stationed in England during WWII. Andrew then returned to the US to finish his education, start a family, and begin his career as an engineer-manager in the electrical utility industry, finally retiring from PG&E after 26 years. There will be no funeral service. Remembrances may be sent to the charity of your choice.
