Crystal Elain (Christine) Atkinson, 11, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben H. Atkinson of the Swift Creek Community of Darlington county died this morning at a hospital in Florence.
Christine, ill for several weeks attended school at Swift Creek and was a fourth grader.
She is survived by her parents; four brothers, Billy, Herbert, Bobby and Benjamin Atkinson; three sisters, Mrs. B.B Howell of Bennettsville, and Evelyn and Juanita Atkinson of Darlington; and the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Atkinson of Hartsville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 P.M. Sunday afternoon from the Kistler Funeral Home by the Rev. Clarence Lambert Pastor of Southside Freewill Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Swift Creek Baptist Cemetery.
