Dulcie Mae Parker, 88, Fredonia, Kansas, died Friday, June 3, 2011 at Golden Living Center in Fredonia, Kansas.
She was born April 25, 1923 in Hallowell, Kansas, the daughter of Fred and Letha (McKee) Glidewell.
Dulcie was a 1940 graduate of Columbus High School.
On August 27, 1944 in Wichita, Kansas, she married Charles Parker. He survives, at their home.
She was employed for more than 15 years as the internal auditor and assistant vice president at the First National Bank in Fredonia.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She is also survived by a daughter, Charis Geisinger, of Bella Vista, AR; a son, Craig Parker, of Fredonia, KS; a brother, Loran Glidewell, of Clearwater, KS; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Fredonia City Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in Dulcie's name with the First United Methodist Church Sprigs and Sprouts, and donations may be sent to Timmons Funeral Home, PO Box 168, Fredonia, KS 66736.
