Mildred R. Bloom
Mrs. Mildred R. Bloom, 80, 417 Maple Ave., died Saturday morning, March 13, 1999, at Altoona Hospital Center for Nursing Care, following a brief illness.
She was born July 31, 1918, in Butler, the daughter of the late Walter and Iona (Weaver) Keller. She married Monroe F. Bloom Dec. 9, 1945, in Westminster, Md.
Mrs. Bloom was a former member of Fourth Lutheran Church.
She was formerly employed as a welder for Sylvania.
Mrs. Bloom was a 1937 graduate of Altoona High School.
She enjoyed sewing.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Daniel R. Myers Funeral Home.
BLOOM - Funeral services for Mildred R. Bloom of 417 Maple Ave. will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Daniel R. Myers Funeral Home, by Father Edward Eckenrode. Interment at Alto-Reste Park. Mrs. Bloom was preceded in death by two sisters: Grace Long and Alverda "Toots" Dodson: and a brother, Walter "Bub" Keller Jr.
