Mrs. Carrie Josephine Matheny of Shubuta, Rt. 2, passed away in Wayne General Hospital Saturday, Jan. 13, at the age of 93.
Funeral Services were held Jan. 15 at 9:30 a.m., at Mt. Pigsah Baptist Church with the Revs. Robert Matheny, Ray Stokes, Leroy Matheny and J.W. Williams officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ester Oakley, Meridian and Mrs. Luke Atchley, Shubuta, Rt. 2; 12 grandchildren;29 great-grandchildren and one great,great grandchild.
