Nora Jane Christopher Oliver, 80, of 708 Aspen Drive, widow of James Bryant (Donk) Oliver, died April 28, 2004, at Allen Bennett Hospital.
A native of Spartanburg County, a daughter of the late Clarence and Ina McElrath Christopher, she was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a son, James Truman Oliver, of Greer; four daughters, Patricia Eubanks, of Campobello, Mary McCraw, of Greer, Catherine Christopher, of Duluth, Ga., and Lillie Blackwell, of Greer; two brothers, Ernest Christopher, of Wellford, and Newton Christopher, of Kentucky; seventeen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Oliver was predeceased by a son, Austin Lee Oliver.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Wood Mortuary, conducted by the Rev. John Pitts. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Oliver's grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Wood Mortuary.
