Born: Giuseppe Francesco Baudino in Montalenghe, Torino, Italy. Married 13 Sep 1908 in Montalenghe to Orsola Tonso b: 14 Aug 1889 Montalenghe, Torino, Italy d: Sep 1916 Gibson, McKinley, New Mexico, daughter of Giuseppe Tonso. Had at least two children with her: Virginia Maria Baudino b: 13 Sep 1909 and Francesco Giuseppe Baudino b: Abt 19 Oct 1910. Married Mary Josephine Visconti 1 Apr 1919 in Needles, San Bernardino, California.

Giuseppe Francesco "Joseph Frank" Baudino – Giuseppe Francesco is Italian for the English name Joseph Frank. As he was born and married in Italy Giuseppe Francesco is the name on his baptismal (birth) as well as his marriage record. I am finding out, that when these families left Montalenghe, the village 30km to the north of Torino (Turin), that they all started going by their English names as they all wanted to become Americans as soon as they could and as much as they could. So that is why his headstone, as well as his SSDI and California death records, reads Joseph F. Baudino.

Family members are buried under a big beautiful pine tree which lets off a lot of tree sap. Therefore a little difficult to clean up nicely; so pardon the look. The Collin's are furthest away from the tree Madelyn first closest to the tree, then Albert beside her facing the camera, as are Joseph and Mary Baudino, Mary is closest to the tree, side by side facing the camera . Virginia, center front of the tree trunk facing the camera, Bart and Frank, side by side, are right under the tree to Virginia's left so they get plenty of the tree's sap. I've included a couple of pictures of the tree that they are buried under also a beautiful picture of the sun shining through the trees taken standing next to Virginia's right, looking to her right thus this picture. I must say, your family is buried in one of the most beautiful and thee most famous star studded cemetery's in the world people go there to walk, to jog to picnic with their loved ones to lay down and read, ride bikes, just to meditate in the gardens everywhere there is nothing but pure beauty full of the most beautiful statues and gardens, you have to see this place to appreciate it. - Email from whiteorchid - the very kind lady that took the time to take all of these headstone pictures and send them to me. I cannot thank her enough.
