Mrs. Amelia McCaslin, widow of Calvin McCaslin, died Friday night at 10 o'clock at the family residence in Johnson Township about one and a half miles north of New Frankfort of fevers. Aged 70 years, 3 months and 12 days. Her remains were interred at the New Frankfort cemetery Sunday forenoon. She leaves two children – Bert McCaslin of Johnson township and Mrs. Leon White of this place. The deceased was kind-hearted and besides many relatives, she had a large circle of friends who mourn her death.
