She was born on August 29, 1900 in Ferron, Utah, a daughter of George A. and Annie Petersen Petty. In 1921, she married Dr. Ernest J. Baker. He later died.She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
Surviving are two brothers, Floyd O. Petty of North Ogden; and Glen G. Petty, Salt Lake City; also several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, at 12 noon, at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 200 N Street, with President Jim Gray officiating. There will be no public viewing. Local funeral directors, Myers Mortuary of Ogden.
