Eddie Cecil Lawrence, 55, of 100 Edwards Road, husband of Betty Chapman Lawrence, died May 18, 2002.
A native of Spartanburg County, the son of the late C.L. and Ruth Baswell Lawrence, he was a retired Fork Lift Driver at Springs Industries and a member of First Baptist Church Lyman.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters and a son-in-law, Kathy Lawrence of the home, Wendy and Colby Fowler of Greer; one son, Michael Lawrence of the home; one sister, Daphine Reeves of Lyman; one granddaughter, Hailey Fowler.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Sam Hammett and the Rev. Mark Smith. Visitation will be held 7 to 9 tonight at The Wood Mortuary.
