Jason was a gentle spirit whose life ended much too soon. He served in the U.S. Army with pride and honor. Jason loved his kids and his family. He loved Trivial Pursuit, hot sauce, and history.
He is survived by his mother, Cheryl Ritchie of Anderson; grandmother, Lillian Ritchie of Middletown; three children, Savanna Ritchie, Stephen Ritchie and Synthia Ritchie, all of Florida; two aunts, Bonnie Huxford of Middletown and Connie (husband, Kenny) Hall of Anderson; an uncle, Richard (wife, Glenda) Stock of Alexandria; two sisters, Marcy Ritchie of Hawaii and Melissa Ritchie of Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Ritchie; grandmother, Margaret Orr; grandfather, Kenneth Ritchie; and uncle, Max Huxford.
