POLO - Ross L. Hardy, a retired Polo electrician, died Saturday in Franklin Grove Nursing Home following a long illness.
He was born Dec. 20, 1886, in Morrison, son of Amos and Harriet (Bowen) Hardy. On Oct. 4, 1911, he was married to Faith Stoessinger in Clinton, Iowa. She died Jan. 15, 1954. Surviving is a daughter, Lois Hardy of Polo. He was also preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Funeral service will be Tuesday., at 1:30 p.m. in Brown-Seidel Funeral Home, Polo, with burial in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.
