Mary Ann Jeffreys Jones was born in Ferndale, Glamorgan, Wales. Mary Ann was the 7th of 10 children of E. Mary Jeffreys and David Benjamin Jones. She married Frazee Felix Noe on the 5th of August 1909 in Los Angeles, California. Mary Ann Jones Noe, (Marion) as they called her, had three sons and one daughter. The daughter died young on July 1, 1926 from a ruptured appendix. It is rumored that she Mary Ann fell over the casket dead, when she saw her daughter in the casket. Her death certificate shows she died of Hypertrophy of the heart caused by a Goiter. Her father also had a Goiter. They think the heart attack had to be brought on by the stress of her daughters death. Five months later, 10 year old David B. Noe died of diptheria, that was brought on by a cold.
