James Darryl Metcalf, 54, of Annville, Ky, passed away Saturday night, Feburary, 26th 2005 at the Marymount Hospital in London, Laurel Co., Ky. He was the son of Bleve Metcalf and Geneva Abney Metcalf. He was a member of the Clarks Chapel Baptist Church and a retired truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Metcalf and the following children: Steve Metcalf, of Annville, Ky, Delana Madden of Tyner, Ky., Lynette Combs and Jennifer Metcalf both of Sexton Creek, Ky. He is also survived by 2 step-children; Larry Patterson, Jr., of Somerset, Ky and Bobby Ahney, of West Liberty, Ky. He also leaves 5 grandchildren and 5 sisters; Laura Johnson, of Oneida, Ky, Inez Melton, Gwendolyn Russell, Pauline Hensley, and Maxine Madden all of Sexton Creek, Ky. Funeral services for Darryl Metcalf were held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March, 2nd 2005 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Ralph Wayne Hacker and Doug Tankersly officiating. Burial was in the Metcalf (Bleve) Cemetery Sexton Creek,Clay Co., Ky. Britton Funeral Home of Manchester, Ky was in charge of the arrangements.
