WELLAND TRIBUNE, Nov. 23, 1939:
ANNA AUGUSTINE – The death occurred this morning at her home in Humberstone Township on Highway No. 3, two miles east of Port Colborne, of Anna Augustine in her 82nd year following an illness of five years duration. The deceased was born in Buffalo but had lived most of her life in this district. Deceased was the daughter of the late Hugh Clark and Mary Buchener. Surviving are her husband, Morris; three sons, Donald of Buffalo, James of Brookfield and Hugh of Port Colborne; four daughters, Mrs. George Cullen of Marilla, N.Y., Mrs. Frank Godley, Sarnia, Mrs. Mark Huggins of Toronto and Miss E. Maud Clark, Port Colborne. She was predeceased by one brother, John, two years ago. Owing to other illness in the family the funeral will be held privately from her residence Sunday afternoon. Rev. B. L. Walden will conduct the service. Interment will be in Overholt Cemetery.
