Mrs. Mary Urell Baldwin
Tioga, Pa., Apr 1. – Mrs. Mary Urell Baldwin died at the family home in Tioga, at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning, after a few days illness. Mrs. Baldwin had been in poor health for over two years, but the end was unexpected. Mary Urell Baldwin was born in Tioga, November 4th, 1854, the daughter of William T. and Rowena Daggett Urell. She was married in Tioga in June, 1884, to Henry L. Baldwin, a young lawyer who died in December 1913. Mrs. Baldwin's entire life had been spent in Tioga, and most of the associations of a well-spent and happy life lie within Tioga county. She leaves many friends who held her in affectionate esteem. The decedent was a member of the Presbyterian Church and of the Wellsborough Chapter of the D. A. R. The funeral will be held at the home on Cowansque street on Friday at 2 o'clock and the burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Tioga. Mrs. Baldwin is survived by two daughters, Marguerite R. Baldwin and Mrs. Dorothy Baldwin Becker of Tioga; and by three brothers, Robert Emmett Urell of Mansfield, Pa., Thomas Moore Urell and Richard Daggett Urell of Tioga.
