Donald L. Brannaman, 89 of Solon, died Sunday June 15th, 2014 at his home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Solon, with burial to follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery with military rites provided by the Solon American Legion. Visitation will be
from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church where a vigil service will begin at 4 p.m. Brosh Chapel ~ Solon is assisting the family.
Don was born on October 31, 1924 in Cedar County, IA to Bert and Lizzie (Kadera) Brannaman. He married Rita Randall on May 11, 1948 at St. Marys Catholic Church, Solon.
Don is survived by his wife Rita, children; Sue (Ed) Dvorak, Randy, John (Nancy), Jan (Tom) Krall, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, many
nieces/nephews, a brother Louis and a sister-in-law Mary Brannaman.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, infant son, two brothers; Raymond and Archie, two sisters; Marcella Clark and Eva Swenson and an infant brother John.
