The Death List.
Mr. Wm. Campbell, brother of C. M. and Dr. J. H. Campbell, an aged and respected citizen of this county, was thrown from his horse on Tuesday, the 6th inst., while returning to his home from Edina, and so badly injured as to cause his death which occurred on Wednesday following. Deceased was 65 years old the day he died; has been a resident of Missouri for the past forty years. He raised a family of twelve children; was a kind and indulgent father, and held the respect of all who knew him. his remains were interred in Rock Creek cemetery.

William Campbell, of Knox county was thrown from his horse on the seventh inst and was hurt so badly that he soon afterward died of his injuries[.] We understand he had been to Hurdland and had purchased some tinware which he was carrying home when his horse became frightened and threw him in such a manner that his head struck the fence. He lived about twelve hours in an unconsious [sic] state and then died.
