Hi I am just letting you know that Michael Hotchkiss was not born in Edinburgh, He was born in Old Monkland, Lanark, Scotland. His birth year is also wrong it should be 1867 not 1868. I found his birth on the Scottish indexes on Ancestry, the entry gives the correct parents so I knew it was correct. Also the rest of their children where born in Old Monkland, Lanark, Scotland so I did think it a bit strange that Michael was born Edinburgh.
