MRS. ALBERT PARRISH DEATH
Life Closed at Daughter's Home Here And Burial Was at Knox City.
Mrs. Albert Parrish, who died in Edina at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joe Carter, Wednesday of last week, was buried in the Knox City Cemetery Saturday afternoon. Death came from a heart attack at 78 years of age.
Surviving with the daughter, Elsie, is the husband and father, and a sister, Annett, Mrs. George Snelling, of Knox City, and two brothers, Walter Berry of Wichita, Kan., and W. N. Berry of Springfield, Mo., and a granddaughter, Mrs. Claudine Triplett, of Moberly.
Two brothers and four sisters are dead. One brother, Charles C. Berry of Huntsville, Ala., died in February 1941, and the others, in infancy. One daughter of Mrs. Parrish, Elzora also died in infancy.
Most of the married life of Mrs. Parrish was spent on a farm north of Knox City, a home which she loved and made pleasant for her family and friends..
A daughter of Andrew and Mary Yarrington Berry, Mrs. Parrish was born Feb, 18, 1869, at Sticklerville, Sullivan County, Missouri, and as Miss Laura Jane Berry she was married to Albert Parrish July 2, 1885.
The funeral services Saturday afternoon were at the Christian Church in Knox City, and were conducted by the Rev. Orville Prather of Lewistown. Early in life Mrs. Parrish had united with that church and her belief in it was expressed in her daily living.
