Uncle Houston Sisco, one of the first settlers of Carroll county, aged about 87 and an old Mexican soldier, died at his home near this place Monday morning.
He has been in a critical condition for some time and he was found dead in his bed when they went to see after him Monday morning.
He was buried and Gobler Cemetery Tuesday.
