She married Royal Oliver Knapp in Fairfield on August 17, 1907. They had one daughter, Dora Knapp, of Adrian. She had two sister, Lena (Wilson) Field and Mary (Wilson) Prau. In her life she attended Sand Creek Schools. She cooked at Reese's Cottage Restaurant and worked at Hurd Lock Manufacturing Co. with her daughter, Dora. She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church, the Business and Professional Women's Club and Rebekah Lodge Enterprise #4 in Adrian.
