A memorial service will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 30, 1997, in the Woodburn Eagles Lodge for Ada Leola Rose, who died April 25 of complications from surgery at age 69.
Ms. Rose was born Sept. 19, 1927, in Viola Corner near Redland. Her Maiden name was Gibson. She was a reforestation foreman for Weyerhauser in Aurora before retiring in 1992.Survivors include her sons, Harry C. of Walnut Creek, Calif., Oral L. (Lee) of Estacada and Ron of Arkansas; daughters, Sherron E. Sharp of Salem and Dowlyn Neila Clark of California; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Disposition was by cremation. Arrangements are by Crown Cremation & Funeral Service.

Ada married Oscar Amanuel Rose on May 18,1948, at Elko, Nevada (born 13 Nov. 1918, Pierre, Hughes, South Dakota, he died 1 Nov. 1987 Arlington, Wa.) Oscar and Ada divorced 9 May 1975 at Oregon City, Or.
