Born in Canada, Mrs. Goble spent many years living in Vermont and South Dakota before coming to California in 1926, and finally moving to Humboldt County in 1952.
Mrs. Goble was a very devoted Christian who dedicated her entire life to the well being of others. She enjoyed spending many hours knitting and working on quilts which were donated to various charity organizations. She also enjoyed writing poetry and had published two books of poetry.
She was a longtime member of the Rohnerville Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by three grandsons, Gregory Burke of Bend, Ore., Thomas Burke of Cupertino and Stephen Burke of Manteca; a stepson and his wife, Max and Lola Goble; her longtime friends, Mr. and Mrs. Henry McIntire of Fortuna; and many other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Mr. Paul Swain Moulton, in 1973, and Mr. Clyde V. Goble, in 1981; and a daughter, Jeanne Burke, in 1980.
