Carlton E. Erickson died at a private hospital at 4:20 o'clock yesterday afternoon after an illness of several months. Mr. Erickson was born in Atlanta, later moving to Powersville, Ga., and to Macon in 1917. He was educated here, having attended the grammar school and Lanier High School. He was 25 years of age and had been associated with his father and the G. P. Estes Furniture company since a boy. Surviving are his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. G. P. Estes; a sister, Miss Mabel Erickson, of Macon; two uncles, J. D. Lamar, and G. A. Lamar, of Powersville, Ga., and two aunts, Mrs. Lula Slaughter, of Powersville, and Mrs. Irene Seager, of Macon. The family resides at 144 Colquitt street. Mr. Erickson was the son of C. C. Erickson and Mattie Lamar Erickson, his mother later having married Mr. Estes. The funeral services will be held this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from Hart's chapel, Rev. J. F. Warren officiating. Interment will be made in the Cliett cemetery at Powersville at 4 o'clock, Central time. The pallbearers will be J. F. Stapleton, George Ezell, Ed Smith, Geo. Hanley, Sam Dean, Marion Hatcher and Mr. Patterson.
