Leo Daniel Brady, 64, passed away at his daughters home, in Candler County, on August 12,2006, after an extended illness. Born in Oglethorpe Co., Georgia he was the son of the late Imers Bud and Ruth Greene Brady. He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel W. (Danny) Brady of Arnoldsville, GA, as well as four brothers and a sister.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Brady of Watkinsville; two daughters and sons-in law; Mary P. and Jay Clifton of Metter and Sandra and Brian Heard of Homer; a son and daughter-in law, Keith and Ginny Brady of Colbert; a sister, Kathleen Brooks of Comer; a brother, Calvin Tippy Brady of Stephens; eight grandchildren, Jesse and Jeffrey Clifton of Metter, Leslie Brady of Arnoldsville, Zach, Dalton, and Austin Brady of Colbert, Courtney Heard of Quinton, AL and Vincent Heard of Homer; one great-granddaughter, Danni Grace Brady of Arnoldsville. He also has three step-daughters: Earleen Ludwick, Cathy Mullins, and Linda Mitchem and six step-grandchildren; Jamie Santos, Michael Stewart, Natasha Sorrow, Brittany Roberts, Tiffany Stewart, and Ashley Dawson, all of Watkinsville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at Colliers Cemetery in Comer with Robert Garrett officiating.
