Age 96 formerly of North Canton, Ohio, passed away in Estero, Fla. on Jan. 10, 2012. Harriet was born Aug. 31, 1915, in Vandergrift Pa. The family moved to Canton, Ohio where she graduated from Canton McKinley High School. She was married to Marland Paul Hutt, Sr. in 1936. He preceded her in death in 1986.
She is survived by a daughter, son, five grandchildren, four great-grandsons, and one brother. Three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death, Thelma Higbie, Nancy Cseak, Evelyn Marchbank, Clyde Riggle and Eli Riggle. Harriet and
Paul moved to North Canton where she resided until 2010. Harriet has been a full time resident of Naples, Fla., since November, 2010. Prior to 2010 the Hutts wintered in Naples for over 30 years. Harriet worked at Hutt Scaffold and
Equipment Co. from 1956-1975, serving as it's bookkeeper for this company owned and operated by her husband. She was devoted to the Mary Martha Sunday School and Woman's Missionary Society of the First Lutheran Church in Canton, Ohio.
While in Florida, Harriet attended the Shepherd of the Glades Lutheran Church. Burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.
