Beside John Samuel Dalchau's gravestone, there is a marker broken & missing on the left, and on the right, cement marker with no script. In addition to the eulogy, a descendant has provided that Anna Froehner Dalchau Vetter and Helene Dalchau Hoffmann, in the family chronicles, have both stated that "Eduard was the first family member buried in the cemetery."
