James Douglas Conn of Houston, Texas, received the JACK CROCKER COMBAT ARMS AWARD at the University of Oklahoma as the outstanding Army ROTC cadet with the Combat Arms Branch assignment. The award, established early this year, 1968, is in memory of Major Donald Jack Crocker, a native of Ouachita Parish and former member of the Oklahoma University ROTC staff, who was killed in action in Viet Nam in July, 1967.

WIDOW PRESENTED GOLD STAR FLAG
The Pilot Club of Monroe, Louisiana, presented a Gold Star Window Flag to Hannah-Star Stephanie Bobys Crocker, Mrs. Donald Jack Crocker, widow of Army Major Crocker who was killed in Viet Nam on July 15, 1967. Making the persentation on behalf of The Pilot Club was Mrs. W. T. Montgomery, patriotic emblems chairman. Major Crocker's parents, Mr. & Mrs. Joseph L. Crocker, 116 Selman Drive, Monroe, Louisiana, were present during the presentation.

Miss Hannah-Star Stephanie Bobys and Captain Donald Jack Crocker, United State Army, Corps of Engineers, were married Saturday evening, June 4, 1966, in a military ceremony in the Battalion Avenue West Chapel at Fort Hood, Texas. Chaplin Black officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Eveterr Bobys of Corpus Christi, Texas, and the parent of the groom are Mr. & Mrs. Joseph L. Crocker, 116 Selman Drive, Monroe, Louisiana. A reception was held in the Officer's Club at Fort Hood following the ceremony.
The bride was graduated from W. B. High School in Corpus Christi and attended the University of Houston. Captain Crocker was a graduated from Ouachita Parish High School where he and his brother, Lloyd, were star football players. He received is B. S. degree in Geology from Northeast Louisiana State College in Monroe, Louisiana, and did graduate study at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma.

Hannah-Star Stephanie Bobys Crocker, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Everett Bobys of 207 Indiana, has been notified that her husband, Captain Donald Jack Crocker, was killed recently in Viet Nam. The captain was fatally wounded when the Jeep in which jeep in which he was riding hit a hostile land mine. For his service in Viet Nam, Captain Crocker has been recommended for the :
