Died: 10-22-2007 HUBERT CHANEY Hubert Chaney, 80, of Snellville, Ga. passed away Oct. 22, 2007. Mr. Chaney was a U. S. Army Veteran and a member of Snellville Masonic Lodge #99 F & AM . He was retired from MARTA as a supervisor after 25 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Earl and Lena Slaton Chaney; his sister, Lillian; and by his brother, James. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Norma Chaney; his son, Tom and wife, Kathy of Loganville, Ga.; his daughter, Cathy Emmett and husband, George of Cannon, Ga., Rhonda Lambert and husband, Richard of Buford, Ga., Dedra Redding and husband, Anthony of Acworth, Ga.; his sister, Ann Bell and husband, Ed of Lenoir City; his brother, Clifford Chaney; his sister-in-law, Carolyn Chaney of Loudon; 11 grandchildren; and by nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 24 at Tom Wages Snellville Chapel with Pastor Richard Wright officiating. Entombment was held at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens.
