Mrs. Elmer Key, 79, Dies at Paris
PARIS — Mrs. Georgia Fern Key, 79, died at 12:30 a.m. yesterday at the Pleasant View Rest Home near Paris following a long illness.
Born at Granville in Monroe County on Feb. 10, 1887, she a daughter of the late William H. and Margaret M. Quinly. Mrs. Key was married June 12, 1901, to Elmer Key, who died Dec. 7, 1947. She was a member of the Paris Christian Church.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Daniel Krembs, Paris; four daughters, Mrs. Capp Ransdell, Paris; Mrs. John Richardson, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Norman Claiborne, Folson, Calif., and Mrs. Maurice Splane, San Diego, Calif.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The body is at the Agnew Funeral Home in Paris. Funeral services will be at 11 Wednesday in the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
