George M. Harris, of 161 Rosehill Ave., West Grove, died last night at the Community Memorial Hospital, Jennersville, after a short illness. He was 62.
Mr. Harris was born in Londonderry Township, son of Amos L. and Bertha Miller Harris. Formerly of Faggs Manor, he had lived in West Grove for the past 45 years. At the time of his death, he was a meat-cutter at the Lake Store, Hockessin, Del.
He was a member of the West Grove Fire Co.
He is survived by his wife, Philena Ebright Harris; a daughter, Margaret A., wife of Ben S. Cook, of Landenberg; five sons, Raymond G., of London Grove; William F., of Avondale; Richard D., of Wilmington and Robert C. and Roy A., both of West Grove; two brothers, W. Leroy, of West Grove, and Charles R., of West Chester, eight grandchildren.
