Jim worked in security at Hershey Foods and retired in 1995. He served his country with the US Air Force, stationed in Riverside, CA. Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his family, bowling league, card club, and church family. He also enjoyed baking and watching the Phillies.
Surviving are his two sons, Dennis of Campbelltown, PA and Doug of Gap, PA; two granddaughters, Angela of Middletown and Jessica of Campbelltown.
Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in the Highspire United Methodist Church, 170 2nd Street, Highspire. Inurnment will be private in the Highspire Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. until time of service in his church. K.M. Knight Funeral Home, Highspire is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to his church at 170 Second Street, Highspire, PA 17034.
