PORT ARTHUR — Marian "Ginger" Worrell passed away at her residence, Thursday, February 25, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Ginger was born on June 10, 1949 in Port Arthur, Texas to Leroy and Catherine Bertrand. She was a lifetime resident of Port Arthur. Ginger was a homemaker as well as a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Clayton Thompson.
Ginger was preceded in death by husband, William Larry Worrell, brother, Steven Bertrand. She is survived by her parents, Catherine and Leroy Bertrand of Port Arthur, daughter, Jeanna Kay Worrell, son, Christopher Michael Worrell both of Port Arthur, grandchild, Talon Hannon Alexander, brother, Paul Bertrand, sisters, Jean Rantz and Anita Marcos, special niece, Andrea Ramos as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
